The rapid expansion and evolution of the space industry is driving a wealth of emerging branding trends.
2023’s new year card was developed to celebrate these trends and demonstrate that for an industry often described as having a branding problem, change is in the air.

THE
SOLUTION
Instead of sending out a digital version of the card, I opted for the more personal, tangible experience of posting a physical copy to friends, colleagues and people in the space industry. The card needed to look and feel unique, to engage the receiver from the moment they set eyes on it.
The envelope pattern is composed of illustrations that represent each trend inside.
The inner card unfolds to reveal an in-depth overview of each trend.
A QR code leads to an online version of the card with links to each trend example.
The unfolded card also contains a note to explain summarise the project along with eight stickers.
Each sticker highlights one of the examples of each trend and are designed for people to stick wherever they usually look for inspiration. The stickers act as a reminder of the innovation and creativity on display in the industry today and encourage us to keep an eye on each trend as they evolve over the coming years and decades.
